PICKUP/DROPOFF HELP (in-person.)

looking for people living in or near Crown Heights, Bed-Stuy, Clinton Hill, or Prospect Heights

Meet borrowers/event partners at our storage unit on Atlantic Avenue (border of CH and Bed-Stuy), to help them check out and return the purifiers.
Time commitment: flexible, opt-in, as many or as few hours per month as you'd like. Even if you can help once or twice a month - that’d be wonderful!
Physical requirements: we ask that the physical labor be taken on by the borrowers, rather than our members. Those librarians who are able to do physical lifting can opt in to helping in the following ways : rolling the air purifiers from the unit to the elevator and then from the elevator to the front area on a mostly level surface with 3 instances of terrain change requiring slight lift (~10 lbs) of each purifier, and occasionally aiding loading purifiers into cars. Access needs/mobility limitations can be accommodated, just let us know on the interest form.
We meet all of our event partners in high-quality masks (KN95, N95, etc.) and ask them to do the same. A.I.R. NYC can provide masks if you need them.

PHOTOGRAPHER/COMMUNICATIONS TEAM SUPPORT (in-person + online)

Someone who can help with :
- taking event photos ! would entail attending (for free) public A.I.R. partner events, and taking pictures (and some short videos) of the events and the purifiers in action.
- General help with the work of this team, including copywriting, graphic design, physical media design (flyers etc), web maintenance/design, social media
(also very down, if you are only up for one or the other — be in touch!)
Time commitment : flexible, opt-in, could be a 1-2 hours a week or 1-2 events a month.

FABULOUS FUNDRAISER HELP (online)

We have a fairly low operating cost (mostly for storage, airtable subscription, and supporting our transportation fund), but we’ll still need to do (likely) some annual fundraising to raise these funds ! Would love the help of someone(s) who’d be interested to help brainstorm, plan, and carry out our next online fundraiser !
note: we are still figuring out the simplest, most ease-ful way to bring people on board for everyone involved, thanks for your patience!
